It sits on the Banderas Bay with access to the Pacific Ocean. The boardwalk has views of the entire bay and the boardwalk is home to one of the best farmers markets in the Bahia de Banderas.

Additionally the marina hosts numerous events including: INTERNATIONAL FISHING TOURNAMENT OF LA CRUZ, Regata Copa Mexico and Full-moon Paddle-sup-rally.

Fish lovers flock to Marina Riviera Nayarit when the fresh catch of the day is for sale in Mercado del Mar.

The second group of people in the know are those beach lovers that long for a large beach that remains peaceful and perfect for swimming. La Cruz is home to Destiladeras beach. If you love a place where the waves roll in slowly and the sand extends far out to sea than this is the place for you.
