11TH ANNUAL TASTE OF LO DE MARCOS EVENT WRAP UP
In total, we had 12 participating restaurants who together generated just over $67,000.00 In food and beverage sales – which is fantastic!
All of the food I tried or heard about was good.
These three restaurants all stood out for different reasons and I think you should give them a try. Make sure you tell them you read about them here.
**Neptunos Restaurant fully understood the Taste concept and came prepared with tastes of Chicken, Shrimp and Fish Friend or as Kebab’s. Its always a pleasure to have them in attendance.
**Pizza Maria – located at Luis Echeverria 11 – Cell and Whatsapp – 322 109 3983
Preparing and delivering pizza, wings, nuggettsz, salads, pastas, Cheese stick and more!
**WB Sushi – Was a complete hit at the event. For most of the afternoon, the lines were long with Sushi lovers wanted a plate. With no physical restaurant the food is to go only or you can catch them when they open a pop up location.

The main entertainment was by Smoking Blues and Jazz and boy was that quartet fantastic! We will have them back again. Perhaps for the Chili Cook-off in March.
Finally, I would like to give a super special shout out to Galvan’s own Vice President of Operations, Karen Contreras. In addition to her more than active job duties, the direction and coordination of our 3 annual fundraising events has fallen to her. We all play a part, however, she is the maestra that is pulling all of the strings.
This annual Fundraiser for the Giving Tree Program has become THE Party of the Season in the North Bay and on behalf of the Event Organizers and Beneficiaries here’s a shout out a big Thank You to all of you who support this event.
