This is always a nice time of year but this year with the rollout of the vaccines, we are all especially hopeful and optimistic that the pent up need to travel is real and that Riviera Nayarit will reap the benefits of Summer Travel.

Real Estate in Riviera Nayarit
You have visited Riviera Nayarit two or three times and you have been bitten! You have fallen in love with the area, the climate, the culture and the people and you are thinking that the time is right to invest in Real Estate.
The first question that comes to mind will be – Can I, as a Foreigner, legally own a property in Mexico??
The answer is YES.
Outside the Restricted Zone, a foreigner or foreign corporation can purchase any type of Real Estate, holding the property as a direct owner in accordance with Mexican Law.
Within The Restricted Zone, the Mexican Constitution regulates ownership of the land and establishes that “In a zone of 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) along the border or 50 kilometers (about 31 miles) along the coast, a foreigner cannot acquire the direct ownership of the land”. These areas are known as the “Restricted or Prohibited Zones”.

A getaway weekend to Tepic
Tepic is the capital of Nayarit. It is the largest and most populated city in this state, making it the center of attention for Nayarit tourism.
