Tropical Musings from Paradise August 2021 Edition

This year, as strange as it continues to be, seems to be moving at a very high speed.

My to do list never seems to get shorter and working 7 days a week doesn’t even make a dent in it. I am not complaining mind you, I am overjoyed to have a busy schedule and office.

I am however looking very much forward to my September Vacation. This year I decided that with the soaring of COVID Cases here in Mexico and around the globe that I would be cautious.

I will be spending time in the luxurious private gated Beachfront Community of Punta el Custodio. Restaurant Review –

This month we want to bring your attention to the Restaurant – Bar Tlaquepaque.

Located on the hotel grounds, the food, the ambiance, the staff, and the overall experience is exceptional! A restaurant not to be missed while in Lo de Marcos.

Oscar, the Chef is a master in the Kitchen!

It’s not the easiest to find within the Hotel but ask at the Front Desk or stroll the gravel path until you see it on the right hand side. Tell them Armando sent you.

Just this past weekend, I ditched my beloved slow cooker meal options and instead prepared a stovetop family favorite – Carne en su jugo accompanied with a big pot of fresh beans. Okay for the beans… I did use my trusty slow cooker.
