Tropical Musings from Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit August 2023 Edition
To celebrate my Birthday this year, we decided it would be fun to play Tourist in Puerto Vallarta.
It has been years since I took the time to walk the streets, enjoy the local restaurants, bars and shops. I was surprised by the increased number of high end condominium projects and upper end boutique shops that seemingly have taken over the Zona Romantica area.
Within hours of arrival we had located our two preferred Watering holes which turned out to be The Blue Shrimp with its prime location on the beach-

For accommodations we selected Casa Lucas on Jacarandas. It’s an easy walk into the Romantic Zone and a short taxi ride home after a full day out.
We had booked the Penthouse however due to an issue that was totally on us, we elected to change our reservation to a Studio unit on the ground floor.
I enjoyed the property so much, that I asked the owner if we could include his properties in our Rental Program and to my surprise he said yes.
