Rainy Season is coming to Riviera Nayarit, let’s be prepared!

Rainy Season is around the corner and over the next four months we can expect more or less around 30 inches of rain, so, its vest to be prepared and these are the steps I recommend.

**Clean and inspect gutters, downspouts, and drainage systems immediately. Remove leaves, debris, and blockages so water can flow freely and prevent overflow, foundation erosion, or interior leaks.

**Inspect and repair the roof. Look for cracked/missing tiles, damaged flashing, or signs of wear. Address issues now before heavy rains hit. Leaks are much harder, and more expensive to fix once the rainy season is in full swing.

**Trim trees and shrubs. Cut back overhanging or dead branches that could fall in wind or heavy rain and damage the roof or windows.

Implementing these steps now can save significant repair costs and protect your property’s value through the wet months ahead.
