Covid 19 and its effects on a local business

Posted by AdminGalvan on March 30, 2020

From the desk of Armando Contreras, Galvan Real Estate and Services

The last two weeks have been a time of grieving for me. At times it was so profound, I really could not figure out what to do to propel my business or myself forward. With no clients coming in, there was also no money coming in. I was in a spiral and not a good one as I realized that my business would never be the same again.

Years of hard work seemed doomed and failure seemed eminent.

I have done a lot of soul searching these past few weeks and realized that, No… I am not a quitter. I built my business over the years with a few tears and a lot of hard work and I am not going to let it fall apart.

Today with a new play book in hand, I am able to say that I do see positive things on the horizon and that Galvan Real Estate and Services and El Vinatero will rebound before the next season arrives. In fact I am already starting to see some great things happening! They are small to start but great never the less.

Yes, we will have made some changes and while those have been hard for me to grapple with, they are changes that have to be made in order to secure the future.

Passing thru and coming out of this grieving process, has left me with a more intense focus to remain the leading Real Estate Agency in Coastal Riviera Nayarit and as part of that focus to also to open our 3rd branch office later this year.

I ask you to think of Galvan when the time comes to plan your next vacation in Riviera Nayarit, To Sell or Buy a home, or when you need an accomplished Property Manager. It is with your support that I know Galvan can not only survive this crisis but emerge stronger and to be even more involved with our local communities.
