Covid 19 Update – The New Normal From The desk of Armando Contreras

In Riviera Nayarit our daily infection rate is on the rise however the Government has told all businesses to reopen as of today. Our state of Sanitary Emergency has been declared over.

What does this mean to a small business? First, what that means is Yeii… we can return to work. Secondly, what that means is Oh No… we have to return to work. It’s a very mixed emotion that’s for sure.

As of today, Galvan has been dealing with the virus for 3 months to the day. I hope that we have done our part in flattening the curve and that the economic recovery will be swift.

I spent the day yesterday, meeting with the Galvan Team Members who were still furloughed and offering them a return to work with a modified salary and modified hours. It was a grueling day and I am pleased to say that Team Galvan is still intact, just a few team members lighter. I have anguished over this day for months and am glad it has finally passed.

Team Galvan is committed to Riviera Nayarit and to our clients and promises to remain active and engaged within the communities that we serve. Our team continues to have the brightest stars available in Lo de Marcos, Los Ayala and now Matanchen Bay. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces once again soon.

We have implemented face masks when clients are in the office, hand gel on each desk and a special sanitizing floor map that will be used by everyone who enters the office. The people that come by for copies or printouts will be helped via the window in our door. Real Estate clients up to 2 at a time will be met in the front lobby where there are 3 seats placed at the correct socially distant location.

In our Rentals, you can feel safe in knowing the unit has been cleaned correctly and according to our newly adapted guidelines approved by VRHP – VRMA which you can read here. https://www.galvanrealestateandservices.com/galvan-has-adopted-vrhp-vrma-cleaning-guidelines/

Lately we have taken a tremendous number of new listings on properties and lots for Sale and we have expanded our sales area to include the beautiful Matanchen Bay. You can read more about that here — https://www.galvanrealestateandservices.com/discover-matanchen-bay-riviera-nayarit/

Regarding Real Estate sales, I feel that as soon as soon as the World is mobilized again that we will see a tremendous increase in sales. The demand has been pent up now for months.

I hope that we have made it thru the worst of the virus and that it is now behind us!

If you have any questions about how the Virus has or has not affected Riviera Nayarit or questions about Real Estate Sales and Rentals, please contact me directly at Director@GalvanRealEstateandServices.com or call the office +52 327 275 0233.

Stay well and stay safe.

All my best to each of you,

Armando Contreras

      Hi Catherine
We are good so far. No one from this little town has been infected nor any close relative. Restaurants and hotels are starting activities with 30% of capacity available.
Beaches are still officially closed but they will open soon.

Will face masks be worn while in the office? Will you ask your clients to wear them while they are in your office?

All clients will be asked to put on a face mask to come into the office. If they decline, we will nicely decline access.
