The Pueblo of Lo de Marcos has lost our first and hopefully only resident to the virus and we are bowing our heads in sorrow.
We have had a few, just a very few, number of actual cases here in town and those are on the road to recovery.
Right now, I like many other professionals are far less confident today than I was one month about the return of the Vacation Rentals to Galvan and to the Pueblo.
Given that the country of Mexico cannot seem to control the virus and one of our largest vacation markets is the United States who cannot control it either, it’s looking like it will be a lackluster Season not just in Lo de Marcos but in the entire Banderas Bay Region.
I just like most business owners are reeling during these uncertain times.
Real Estate Sales remain incredibly strong given the time of year and the virus. What I am seeing is people wanting to relax more and spend time in a small coastal town.
Today as I was looking at budgets, forecasts and what we have done since we were able to bring back a portion of our team I found this. This document is what has shaped Galvan’s policies and thoughts since our inception almost 7 years ago — https://www.galvanrealestateandservices.com/about/social-responsibility-statement/
After reading this my hearted lightened a lot. I thought to myself. With these principles you did it once and today you will climb that ladder and to it again.
If I can do it, then this is a shout out to everyone that reads this that You can do it too!
We need to refocus, sharpen the pencil and move forward the best we can.
